Computer-Rx is one of the most consistently growing pharmacy software vendors in the U.S. with over thirty years of experience and more than two thousand customers in forty-seven states. In the summer of 2015 we moved into a brand new facility in the heart of Moore, Ok, capable of housing triple our current staff. This investment in our company wouldn’t be possible without the outstanding support and recommendations of our pharmacy partners.
From the beginning, Computer-Rx was based on the idea that a pharmacist knows best what pharmacy software should be capable of doing. After becoming unhappy with the capabilities, responsiveness and usability of the pharmacy software that he had recently purchased from his wholesale partner, Roger Warkentine, RPh. began to create his own pharmacy management software, teaching himself programming along the way.
Computer-Rx has more than one hundred support staff team members that make up the core of the Computer-Rx headquarters.
Very early in Roger’s new business venture he realized that customer support was going to be a crucial part of Computer-Rx. Providing excellent customer service and training during installation was important, but he wanted to continue that support, building a relationship with each customer and striving to understand their pharmacy needs. He did this by listening to the requests of his peers-turned-customers. Computer-Rx continues to adapt to their customers' needs and remains in close contact with them through regional meetings and conferences, involvement in state and federal organizations and Idea Exchange, the Computer-Rx annual customer user conference.
Today, Computer-Rx has more than one hundred support staff team members that make up the core of the Computer-Rx headquarters. Many of these team members gained pharmacy experience by working as technicians or clerks before joining our team, and some of them even have focused areas of expertise in compounding, DME billing, long-term care, copay assistance and funding, and, of course, retail pharmacy.
With a development staff committed to product innovation and accuracy, we continually work to update Computer-Rx software programs while cultivating relationships with progressive industry partners. Using the open path of communication that Roger created, our customers continue to inform us of features they need to improve their business, partners they’re interested in working with and ways we can improve our products to help them run their business.
